How it works
A marketplace, not a store.
Green Post Farm never owns or ships the food. We connect you with the farm and protect the payment in between.
Four steps from farm to freezer.
- 1
The farmer lists
Each farm creates a listing, from a weekly produce box to a whole steer, and sets its own price range, delivery area, deposit, and processing date.
- 2
You find it and pay a deposit
Search by product and distance, so the closest farms appear first. Read reviews, then pay your deposit through the site. We hold it securely.
- 3
The farmer delivers
Pick up at the farm, get local delivery, or receive a harvest shipment, whichever the farm offers.
- 4
Payment is released
Once your order is delivered, the farmer receives 90% of the sale and Green Post Farm keeps 10%. Then you can leave a review for the next buyer.

Example
A $1,000 quarter-cow share
| Buyer pays | $1,000 |
| Green Post Farm fee (10%) | − $100 |
| Farmer receives | $900 |
Illustrative. Each farmer sets their own price.
