What is a beef share?

Instead of buying by the cut at the store, you buy a portion of one animal (a quarter, half, or whole) from a local rancher. It's processed to your order, packaged, and frozen.

A quarter share fills part of a chest freezer and typically lasts a household for months. Pork shares work the same way, usually as a half or whole hog.

Each farmer sets their own price, share sizes, and pickup or delivery options.
