Questions

Good to know.

Buying

Does "green" mean organic?

No. Green stands for fresh food from farms near you. Each farm describes its own practices, and you can choose what matters to you.

Who delivers my order?

The farmer. Green Post Farm never owns or ships the food. Each listing shows whether the farm offers pickup, local delivery, or shipping.

What happens to my deposit?

We hold it until your order is delivered, then release payment to the farmer.

How much freezer space does a beef share need?

It depends on the share size and the animal. Each farmer lists the expected amount, so you can plan before you buy.

Selling

What does it cost farmers?

Listing is free. Green Post Farm keeps 10% of each completed sale, and the farmer receives the rest.

Who sets the price?

You do. You set your price range, share sizes, deposit, delivery area, and schedule.

When do I get paid?

Payment is released to you when the order is delivered.
